Filtration systems play an important role in the food industry. Whether in the production of sugar, oil or beverages – hardly any production process can do without filtration. Under certain circumstances, the filtration material is also exposed to heat, cold, acid or other extreme environmental conditions. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA for short, monitors the safety of food, among other things. The guidelines and regulations of the US authority also apply to imported products: Only companies that work in compliance with the FDA and whose materials are certified accordingly are allowed to import their goods into the USA. On request, our filter tubulars and belts for the manufacture of filter media are FDA-approved. So vombaur customers are safe – and so are consumers.
